Our Story

Peter Allan Timber was built on decades of experience in the South African timber industry and a long-standing focus on reliable timber supply to the Western Cape trade.

Since the business was established in 1995, we have continued to expand our sourcing, processing, treatment, and manufacturing capability to support the day-to-day requirements of merchants, manufacturers, truss plants, fabricators, and the broader construction industry.

Where We’re Based

Operating from our Blackheath facility, the business has evolved from a traditional timber merchant into a fully integrated timber operation with extensive in-house processing capability.

Supported by long-standing relationships with leading sawmills across South Africa, we continue to focus on what has always mattered most: quality timber, reliable availability, practical industry knowledge, and long-term customer relationships built on trust and consistency.
